Business Meetings

These are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each calendar month except December, normally from 18.30 to 20.00, and are open to all Members to attend but only the elected Officers may vote.  The current [April 2010] venue is at The Foyer, 8 The Square, Abingdon, OX14 5FT. Tel: 01235 540190. This is in the centre of the town opposite the War Memorial. There is an archway that goes through the building; walk into the archway from the The Square and enter the first door on the left. Minutes are distributed to all Members via e-mail.

The format of each Meeting may vary and will depend upon current issues and subsequent requirements.

On occasion a speaker is invited to speak to a specific topic, in which case the Speaker talks at the start and leaves before the first Agenda item is taken. On such occasions the meeting may last for up to 2 hours.

Network Meetings

Having had feedback from some members we are changing our mode of working on these for 2010.

To accommodate more members we are holding the first three meetings this year at different times and in different venues.

We are also going back to basics and having these meetings as exactly what we promote them as being - Networking Meetings.

Wednesday 21st July evening 1900 hrs
This evening will be devoted to Social Networking when the new website feature will be launched. The event will take place at The Nags Head Public House (see www.mypubheaven.com/nagsheadabingdon for directions).
